National Retail Interest Rates (NRIR) comprise a group of interest rates considered to be the main indicators of retail financial market conditions in the Member State concerned, as normally monitored by users.

These rates are not harmonised and, in contrast to national components of euro area retail interest rates, are based purely on national choice. 92 rates have been identified and allocated to ten broad categories - six for lending rates and four for deposit rates.
